چکیده

Diesel engines are important for heavy-duty vehicles. However, particulate matter (PM) released from diesel exhaust should be eliminated. Nowadays, catalytic filters (CDPF) recognized as a promising technology. In this work, series of monolith Mn1−nKnCo2O4 catalysts were prepared by the simple citric acid method. The as-prepared displayed good performance soot combustion and Mn0.7K0.3Co2O4 catalyst gave best among all samples. T10 Tm Mn0.7K0.3Co2O4-HC 310 439 °C, respectively. physical chemical properties characterized means SEM, XPS, H2-TPR, Raman other techniques. characterization results indicate that K substitution is favorable formation oxygen vacancies, enhancing mobility active species, improving redox so on. In-situ prove strength Co-O bonds in became weak during reaction at high temperatures. addition, SEM ultrasonic test show peeling rate coat-layer less than 5%. can taken one kind candidate application because its facile synthesis, low cost activity.

Reaction Mechanism in Catalytic Soot Combustion with CeO2 Catalysts

Introduction Diesel soot elimination is a very difficult problem. The catalytic filters seems to be one of the technological alternatives in order to trap and burn the soot, at the exhaust gas temperature. In order to advance in a rational catalyst design, the reaction mechanism must be understood. In spite of this need, and even though there are many papers in the field, detailed studies regar...

Study of HMS Modified ZrO2 Supported Platinum Catalysts for Toluene Removal: Catalytic Combustion and Kinetics Study

Reaction behaviors and kinetics of catalytic oxidation of toluene with different feed flows over Pt/Zr(x)-HMS catalysts with Si/Zr ratio equal to 5, 10, 20 and 35 were investigated over a wide temperature range (200 – 500 oC). Results show that Pt/Zr(x)-HMS performs more easily toluene oxidation. The kinetic data were fitted by the Power-law and Mars–van Krevelen kinetic models. The fitting res...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

exploring motivation and english test preparation strategies of iranian pre-university candidates during and at the end of test preparation period for konkur examination

the current study aimed at investigating the relationship between motivation and test preparation strategies (tpss) used by iranian pre-university students in their preparation period for the university entrance exam (uee). due to the importance of uee in iran, this study also attempted to show its impact on these two important variables. to this end, 100 pre-university students in an iranian p...

Catalytic Oxidation of 4-Methylpyridine on Modified Vanadium Oxide Catalysts

The reaction of gas-phase oxidation of 4-methylpyridine on individual V2O5, binary and ternary vanadium-oxide catalysts was studied. These catalysts were modified by additives of SnO2 and TiO2. It was found that modifying V2O5 leads to increase the activity of binary contacts. Upon transition from binary V2O5<...
